acquired the Vesco Tools Company's line of wood scrapers - the first of nearly three dozen acquisitions designed to expand and improve the RED DEVIL® In the early 1900's, the RED DEVIL® name became synonymous with quality tools for professional and DIY projects. Were depending on our top-performing products. By the late 19th century, do-it-yourselfers as well as professionals The name stuck in Smith's mind and upon his return to the States he began to label many of the tools he sold with the RED DEVIL® trade name. Smith, heard a blacksmith remark "those little red devils" after sparks from a forge singed his arm. During a buying trip to Sweden, the company's founder, Landon Because of the "Woodward Wizard" and other unique and dependable tools, our reputation for quality and reliability grew. The first in the industry and could be used as a glass breaker, can opener, corkscrew, knife/scissor sharpener, and tack hammer. This unique tool, with its tiny wheel for scoring glass, was among in 1872 in Hill, New Hampshire, our place in hardware history was established over 140 years ago with the production of several types of glass cutters, one of which, the "Woodward Wizard", was patented. Once again, the open source community comes through for developers looking to advance and grow.Founded as Smith & Hemenway Company, Inc. Get these four tools loaded on your development machine, and you’ll be ready to build some amazing applications while navigating the Kubernetes waters with ease. Guess what: It's included when you install kubectx. Kudos, again, to Ahmet Alp Balkan for kubens. Like kubectx, the dash (-) option returns you to the previous value. The simplicity of this tool is what makes it so appealing. A simple kubens foo will make foo your active namespace. This script allows you to easily switch between Kubernetes namespaces. The instructions to download them-and some other goodness such as tab completion-are detailed at the Github repo for kubectx. Installation on Linuxīoth kubectx and kubens (mentioned later in this article) are written in Bash, so they're pretty much compatible with any Linux distro. Thank you to Googler Ahmet Alp Balkan- ahmetb on GitHub-for the tool. Another slick trick is that kubectx remembers your previous context-much like the “Last” button on a television remote-and allows you to switch back by running kubectx. For example (taken directly from the kubectx website), kubectx eu=gke_ahmetb-samples-playground_europe-west1-b_dublin allows you to switch to that cluster by running kubectx eu. It also allows you to alias a lengthy cluster name into an alias. Rather than type a series of lengthy kubectl commands, kubectx works it magic in one short command. Kubectx is helpful for multi-cluster installations, where you need to switch context between one cluster and another. Make sure your PATH includes said directory. Hop over to the binaries page of the Github repo for stern, download the latest binary, and store it in a directory on your machine. Stern is a gift because, rather than viewing an entire log to see what happened most recently, you can use stern to watch a log unfurl. In the true spirit of open source community, the stern project comes from Wercker (which was acquired by Oracle in 2017). Keeping with the Kubernetes nautical theme, stern is the tail end of a ship, and it's a tool to display the tail end of logs for containers and multiple pods.
